Can archived apps have banner text everywhere saying "ARCHIVED" or something to distinguish them? Today I used a bookmark I had to go to an app and it brought me to an archived older version of the app I meant to go to.
I went there to work on a page, but saw that it was checked out. Then I saw that the dev workbench didnt show any checked out sources.
I dont think archived apps get revision updates, but the IDE will continue to, so it is possible that could result in new bugs seen in the archived app?
Regardless of that answer, I dont think you should be allowed to develop in an archived app. Or maybe you could change things in DV, but not allowed to promote?
A banner definitely would have helped. I lost a few hours to the mistake, so I'm thinking it could happen to others.
