Tests get deleted when changing Boolean block mode

Unread post by JefferyD »

When toggling the Block/String option for a Boolean "Block" object, the contents of that Block is lost and won't come back even if it is toggled back to the original option. There also seems to be no way to undo this apart from having a backup of the service.

This is the intended functionality of the block's switch for both Boolean services and Inquire services. Undo/redo will be available for this editor in the future and will allow the user to get that information back if they want to.

Could there at least be some kind of confirmation message to the user in cases where the contents are not blank? As it stands, it is currently too easy to accidentally lose an entire block of tests.

Task 10898 is the Undo/Redo change for the editor and it will include a confirmation message on the switch's toggle.
