Dev Workbench Doesnt have Updated Names

When looking at sources in developer workbench, the sources that show in the checkedout objects are old names from when they were checked out.
When its promoted all the way to PD, it fixes, but while its checked out its confusing

Here is a checked out source

but when opened, and you click on the pencil, it has a different name:

The correct name also shows in the browser tab title:

If you create the object with the future name in mind, but we have examples where the name is completely different:

Here a developer put their name on the source and it was a copy of an existing batch job. So at first glance you might say "get contact master? that project is already in PD. And its named after a developer. this is clearly the source they were using as scratch paper. I should undo checkout"
but if you open it, it has the name:

And is actually a crucial source in an ongoing project. This project has be ongoing for a year so we have to remind everyone new to the project to not remove this source, but it could be a dangerous bug
