Modern Authentication Email Connections

As of DesignTime Revision 2432, RunTime Revision 1104, and ECC Revision 124 developers will have the ability to create email connections using Modern Authentication for email connections that receive emails. As of October 1st, 2022 Microsoft has deprecated Basic Authentication and will be permanently disabling these connections January 2023.

Instructions on setting up the EASYProcess and ECC side of the connection can be found below:
1. Setup a new connection in your EASYProcess 5.1 tenant's connector application. If you are using ECC then check the Use ECC slider at the top of the Connection Manager page with the connection selected and go to your ECC Server Manager client to setup the variables. 2. Set the connection's AuthorizationType to "OAUTH" and fill in the ClientId/ClientSecret or CredentialJson. Then set the Protocol, Server, and ServerType based on if you are using Gmail or Office 365. The ServerType value can either be "Gmail" or "Office365".
