I used to use CreateServiceNodeFromExistingNode all the time in EC Classic to create a local "prevalues" type reference for a passed in array

now I cant do that anymore:
heres how its set up is there a reason I cant do this in MVC?

You should be allowed to use that path. This is a bug. Task #10851 has been created.
