Mobile App Loading Indicator

When clicking on a menu item or hyperlink in the mobile app there is no visual indicator that anything is loading leading the user to think they perhaps did not actually tap the link. It would be nice if there was a loading spinner or some other indicator that the user actually did tap something and the application is working on the request.
