Cant edit Configuration after added to project

For training, we created a configuration and it showed in the checkout source

Then we clicked into it and it brought us to the configurations page. But once we're here, you cant do anything because its a new configuration with no variables

This got me thinking, when something is checked out in the developer workbench, it is not set in stone yet. You are still able to rename sources and edit logic, etc. But for a configuration, when you name it when adding a new one, that name is set in stone. It will show in the developer workbench, but you cant change it at all.

There should be a way to edit the name and description while its still checked out
