Security Application

In working with the security login process today I learned that the security app is officially called the "Identity & Access Management" application. Is there a reason for this instead of naming it security? Since we refer to it verbally as the security path I was just wondering why they're different.

Can we change how it appears in the list of apps?

I believe at one time we wanted it to be identity and access, but now it is referred to as security everywhere.
Calling it the same everywhere would remove any confusion on it
