Logs screen Search/Reset buttons dont always work

I was working on a batch job and I had an issue where I would run the batch job, then want new logs. I would click "Search" but no new ones would show up. then I would click "Reset" and I would get a yellow error "logs are too old, resetting" (or something like that). I would have to refresh the page to show the new logs I knew existed

Matt H said he experiences this on other object types too. It may just be a bug with the logs page in general

After it shows this message, either button will not reset the logs and the "Elapsed: 4 minutes" will never refresh to show that the logs are new. It will just keep counting up
