Suggested Log Treeview Enhancements

Unread post by JefferyD »

  1. The nodes that contain basic information about the current log can be a little difficult to see quickly since they are all siblings to the "WorkData" node. Could they instead display their values in inline of the node in the tree view? Alternatively, maybe they could be contained in a single info node so that they could take less overall space in the tree and allow them to be viewed independently of the "Children" and "WorkData" nodes?
  2. Similarly, could the "Children" node display how many total children there are inline of the node?

  3. Some services have their outputs exposed, and this can be determined in the logs by looking at the attributes of the node. Could this be made easier by marking it in the treeview somehow? Perhaps setting those nodes as bold, or adding symbols of some kind before or after the percentage?
